​The Hammer and The Hatchet presents in multiple configurations under the same banner, including an intimate duo, an insturmentally driven string band, or a full four piece with a Midwest Roots rock edge. The duo, John Bowyer and Jayme Hood, has been performing regionally for over a decade, grounding the project in long standing chemistry and a shared musical language. This flexibility allows the band to move comfortably between listening rooms, acoustic stages, and larger festival slots while maintaining a consistent sound and presence.
